11.24.08 :: Calling Local Contractors!
Local
contractors and laborers interested in providing discounted
or donated construction services in 2009 are asked to
contact the Project at 719-486-5300. We need your help
for the restrooms and playground.
The
County, City, Colorado Mountain College, multiple private
contractors, and dozens of community volunteers turned a
dream into reality this fall. Excavation, grading, leveling and
compaction of 22,000 cubic yards is now complete.
Fundraising
Update
We
are on the home stretch of the fundraising campaign. Two
more grant applications were submitted this week. Meetings
with regional corporations continue. Lake County residents
are encouraged to submit their final project pledges. The
finish line is near!
